Tesco airs it first advert for it’s mobile shopping app tonight on ITV1.
It features the Tesco couple (Mark Addy & Fay Ripley) using the barcode feature to scan products they have run out of, which will then be added to their shopping list.
The supermarket is the only one of the big four who have a full mobile strategy (as reported by Marketing Week), and this has led to over 1.5 million downloads to date of the Tesco app. (I use it too! -Al)
